Is this a good Lip Gloss Recipe?

I was wondering if this is a good idea or not, and if it is okay to use and actually yields good results. Is it a waste of time and ingredients, or is it an actual way to make your own lip gloss? I was not planning to do it, I was just wondering if other people have done it and if it worked okay or not.





Fruity Lip Gloss





Ingredients:


2 Tbs solid shortening


1 Tbs fruit-flavored powdered drink mix


35 mm film container





Mix shortening %26amp; drink mix together in a microwave safe bowl till smooth!


Place in microwave on high for 30 seconds until mix becomes a liquid!


Pour into clean (wash thoroughly before use) film container, or any other small airtight container!


Place mix into fridge for 20-30 minutes or till firm!





Is this a good Lip Gloss Recipe?
I have heard of this before, so it seems legit. Is this a good Lip Gloss Recipe?
No. That is disgusting and will make a huge mess. Shortening is fatty and oily and will not stay on your lips. The Kool-Aid you mix it with will stain your skin when it bleeds around your mouth, and it will stain your clothes too. Just buy lipgloss in the store.
Don't be cheap.


Get like two bucks, and go to walmart.

I wouldn't go through the trouble of making that when you could buy perfectly good lipgloss @ the store or even at a department store where you can get quality brands like lancome juicy tubes, or chanel.
That is disgusting, every time you lick your lips it will be like you stuck your tongue in a can of Crisco!!! SICK! Go get E.L.F. lipgloss for $1... that's cheaper than shortening!!!
