Try to stick with lighter colors if you have lighter skin. If you wore darker colors, it would make you look lighter. Try light shades of pink.

i usually use a pinnkish or a light tan... or just a clear/glitter.....
on most lipgloss the shades dont show on lips , unless they're a type of lipstick..... just pick out one and see how u like it... everyones opinions are different though.i would suggest to use the victorias secret ';beauty rush'; lipgloss.you might see that they all come in like weird shades and allll glittery, but once they get on your lips you can barely notice you have them on. they also smell really good. and are cute. but anyway there is like purple,gold,yellow,blue and a bunch more colors , but like i said u can barely notice the colors when their on you!. try them out and see how you like them. i do!! hope i helped!! ;)

I have dark skin I'm Indian like a tannish color but little darker. umm what color lip gloss would look best ?

Experiment with some inexpensive ones at the discount stores, like Walmart or Kmart. They have cheap ones like NYC and Wet %26amp; Wild for under $2. They are very similar to the expensive ones, but affordable enough to take the risk. Try a few and see what you like and don't be afraid to go out on a limb and try something new! Best vibrant lip gloss color?

I think that I may have exactly what you are looking for! I would highly suggest using Loreal HIP Brilliant Shine Lipgloss. It comes in many different shades and lasts really long! It also smells really good! I'm pretty sure that you can get it at target or your local drug store or something like that. Let me know how it goes!!!

it depends what kind of a look you are trying to achieve....if you want an every day look: sheer pink with dark pinkish blusher and (any eyeshadow really) lavender shadow
evening look: red matte lipstick with a dark blusher just on the cheekbones but looking natural with noe eysdhadow but a little bit liquid liner(remember NEVER to do alot of liner or smokey eye with red lipstick)
for natural look: sheer gloss with dark pink blusher and no shadow
for a sweet flirty look: pink blusher with pink gloss and neutral shadow (gold, silver, brown, beige or even pink or lavander)

1. Extremely light/shiny %26amp; not really sticking out

There is a transparent gloss by Loreal that's good and there are a few more neutral shades they have too.. Go see them at the store and put them next to your face and look in a mirror,,, you'll automatically know which one is best for you.

whatever you do, dont wear orange, red, plum, or colors that are too pale. clear lipgloss is a good choice, but it looks so plain! try a nude (brownish/tannish) color. pink would also be an excellent gloss to experiment with. i always thought that shimmery lipglosses added the perfect touch to anyones lips.

since the color of the dress is pretty bright, I suggest not going TOO crazy on the lip gloss/ eye shadow colors.
I suggest a really fine white/ light airy silver eyeshadow, sprinkled to just below the crease of the eyelid, and on the inside corners of the eyes. also, i suggest some white eye liner around the eyes.
as for the lip gloss, a light pink rose colored gloss will be perfection!!

Differences between Lipstick, lip gloss, lip color?
I'm in my early 20's and have been wearing makeup to go to work for a little over a year now. I usually wear lip gloss or lip shine (as I work the regular 9-5 and my workplace is not exceptionally formal or business-like). I'm certainly no expert on makeup and prefer a subtle, natural look.
I was under the impression lipstick tends to be for older women/night wear and is usually too much for the day unless your work is exceptionally business-like (High powered law firm or business corporation...)
Am I wrong? Can the different lip colors/pencils/shines be broken down into categories/age groups?Differences between Lipstick, lip gloss, lip color?
Wear what looks good on you and what you feel comfortable in, and what is in fashion of course will help if you are interested in fashion. There is no rule for lipcolor and age, but there are rules for good taste vs. gaudy. I had a thing when I was young about darker red lipsticks being wrong for me, but then they came into fashion and I got over it, I look back on the white lipstick and laugh! I wear red or pink lipstick every minute of every day (exaggeration by a few hours) and I love it. If you prefer natural, wear some chapstick or lip balm. There's no ';rule'; by age, except your own. Taste in fashion is so subjective. The fashion for the twenty somethings right now seems to be clear lip gloss. If you have full lips it looks great! not really, it can not be broken down. try to get a lip stick or lip gloss the same color of your lips. this what i do: i put lip stick on first almost the same color of my lips and on top of that i put on clear lip gloss. try that meaby it could help.

I don't know of any moisturzing lip gloss or balm but i know of something you could use underneath it. It's called Cortibalm. I've had chronically dry peeling lips and this stuff is a miracle. After i recieved and used my samples, i bought them off ebay. it is a bit pricier than Chapstick but then again, this is no ordinary lipbalm. I found it after googling 'chronically peeling lips' because i was tired of using Chapstick and other brands that only gave me a headache from the smell and the feeling like i'm eating the stuff and them doing nothing to heal my lips.
This stuff lasts on your lips quite a while after you put it on but it never feels ';greasy'; although you can feel it on your lips. I had to throw away the Carmex after one use because it tasted and smelled so terrible and it seeped into my mouth making me cringe. The Cortibalm by Dr. Dan is virtually odorless, tasteless, so much better than Chapstick or anything else out there. I honestly cannot say enough about it.
It's also highly recommended for acne medication users such as Accutane who develop dry, peeling lips from the medication.
Send for a free sample and experience it for yourself. It's hard to believe i'm praising something as trivial as lip balm but when you've tried everything you know to heal your lips, you're so grateful to not have to peel off the flakes on your lips and them looking awful and painful.

well blistex is good for chapped lips but u just have to search for lip GLOSS and STICK with moisturization

Avon has a great moisturinzing lip color line...its called '; my lip miracle';....tons of great shades....doesnt get dry and cracked like normal lip colors...check it oout at myavon.com/remard

Benefit has a lot of tinted lip balms.
Chanel has lip glosses with vitamins E and C and others to moisturize, and dior has lipstick that looks like a gloss and prevents chapped lips.
Stay away from carmex, since it makes lips drier (since it dries cold sores).

I don't know of any moisturzing lip gloss or balm but i know of something you could use underneath it. It's called Cortibalm. I've had chronically dry peeling lips and this stuff is a miracle. After i recieved and used my samples, i bought them off ebay. it is a bit pricier than Chapstick but then again, this is no ordinary lipbalm. I found it after googling 'chronically peeling lips' because i was tired of using Chapstick and other brands that only gave me a headache from the smell and the feeling like i'm eating the stuff and them doing nothing to heal my lips.
This stuff lasts on your lips quite a while after you put it on but it never feels ';greasy'; although you can feel it on your lips. I had to throw away the Carmex after one use because it tasted and smelled so terrible and it seeped into my mouth making me cringe. The Cortibalm by Dr. Dan is virtually odorless, tasteless, so much better than Chapstick or anything else out there. I honestly cannot say enough about it.
It's also highly recommended for acne medication users such as Accutane who develop dry, peeling lips from the medication.
Send for a free sample and experience it for yourself. It's hard to believe i'm praising something as trivial as lip balm but when you've tried everything you know to heal your lips, you're so grateful to not have to peel off the flakes on your lips and them looking awful and painful.
As great as it is though, it is not a 'use it once and no more dry peeling lips, ever'. If you want shine, Bobbi Brown Crystal looks great for shine but I don't think it would help with dry lips, yet it gives the absolute BEST shine. I had my lips permanently tatooed, so all I use is a gloss to give my lips added shine now. I love it!
